Welcome to the Oodles of Poodles home page. The club was set up in Canberra, Australia, in January 2000 by a poodle lover, Susan Dalby, who wanted to meet like minded people and provide safe opportunities for poodles to meet and play. Oodles of Poodles consists of two separate, yet associated, arms. The first is a poodle rescue service for poodles and other small, low shedding dogs. For practical reasons, the fostering and adoption services offered by the Club are limited to the Canberra region. However, where an interested family resides in Sydney or the Blue Mountains, we will consider making arrangements to meet the family to discuss a possible adoption. The second is a social club for all poodles and their owners. For more details about poodle plays and walks see the 'membership' and 'meetings' sections.
