This is Freddie – delightful, devoted and not at all demanding. A Maltese cross, he is about 3-5 years old and well trained.  His foster Mum spent weeks deciding whether to put him up for adoption or to keep him, only deciding to have him adopted because she will be traveling a lot this year. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this dog. He has no bad habits.  He is a good friend, fun to play with and go on walks with. He does not even think of sharing the bed or pushing you out of your chair – just wants to be close and talked and played with. How could such a gorgeous dog become a stray? But now Freddie has been rehomed with another one of our rescue dogs from last year and is enjoying his new life with long walks lots of cuddles and his new friend.
Natalie is a beautiful black miniature poodle aged about 10 to 12 years whose owners could no longer care for her as they had to move into a hostel.  Natalie is an inside dog, very affectionate, well mannered, and also in excellent health. She has had the best of care and it shows in her vigour and presentation. She has now been rehomed with a retired lady who will enjoy walking Natalie as well as the companionship she provides.

Patrick is a very friendly poodle.  He loves to have company and enjoys a pat behind his ears. He appreciates a walk every day and will sit on command at the roadside.  He retrieves balls and will “drop” it on command. He sits happily in his harness on the back seat of a car and sleeps in his own bed at night.  Mostly, Patrick just likes to be with his family.

He has now gone to a home where he will be walked twice a day and be the centre of attention with a retired gentleman.  Patrick may well learn German along the way and is bound to have a great life starting in middle age.
