Molly is a gentle poodle/shih tsu cross with non-shedding hair, who was rescued from the pound.  We think she is about 4 years old.  She loves people and is excellent with children.  She would like to have attention all day but is also very good at retiring to her bed for a rest or just for time out during the day.  She loves to play with other dogs but would make a good companion for someone who is home most of the time.  She is good natured and walks well on a lead.  Molly is toilet trained and travels well in the car.  She is not so keen to share her living space with cats but this may become easier for her as she adapts. She has now been successfully rehomed and is as happy as Larry... or is that Harry (see below) .... with her new family.

Harry, a maltese poodle cross, is about one year old.  He is a very affectionate little rascal who loves lots of attention.  He plays hard with a mini poodle whose house he currently shares and enjoys his daily walks.  Harry doesn't cope well with being separated from his people and would be best placed where someone is home most of the time, especially if he would also have another dog to play with.  Harry would need to be with someone (or a family) who is able to walk him at least daily and can do some obedience training (at home would be fine) with him.  He works very hard to be best mates with everyone and is loved by those who meet him.  Harry needs to be clipped at least 4 times and possibly up to 8 times a year and ideally needs to be brushed daily.

Harry has now been successfully rehomed with a retired family.  He loves having two walks a day and visiting a range of people regularly.  He also attends obedience training, and this should help shape his currently exuberant puppy behaviour.

Bailey is a 4 year old male white mini desexed poodle who could no longer be cared for by his owners.  He had to be shaved to the skin but became a very good looking poodle after a few weeks.  He loves attention and gets on well with other dogs as well as people.  He is also quite energetic and loves to walk.

Fortunately,  a trial adoption for both Bailey and Sami with the same Sydney couple worked out, and they have now been permanently rehomed there.

Sami is Bailey's litter mate. She is a 4 year old female white mini desexed poodle who, like Bailey, could no longer be cared for by her owners.  She is a friendly girl who loves food.  She is gentle and walks well on lead.  She was matted quite badly and had to be shaved to the skin, so didn't look as beautiful as she did when her hair grew back.  Sami loves people and makes a good companion.  As noted above, she has been kept together with Bailey, and permanently rehomed in Sydney.

Jade (right) and Jasper (left) are two small maltese who were rescued from a pound in Sydney.  They are both sweet and playful with happy temperaments.  Jasper is a bold little character who steals the heart of all visitors, while Jade quietly waits her turn and revels in attention. The pups she is about to have will ensure that! Jade and Jasper have been rehomed together and enjoy cuddles and plays while running the household.

Oscar, Puki, Cosmo and Duncan are four mini poodles rescued from Sydney. They seem to be poodle crosses though we are unsure of more details.  All of these dogs were extremely timid of humans and generally nervous, and poor little Duncan was completely terrified of the world altogether. However, they all made enormous progress thanks to the hard work of their foster carers who, in Oscar and Puki's cases, both decided to keep their guests. Cosmo and Duncan have now gone back to share a permanent home in Sydney. Their new owner is a vet whose husband is a teacher, and both think their new 'children' are gorgeous. Cosmo is now a happy and friendly dog who is helping his brother to develop his confidence too.

Sir William, (aka Pa, and formerly called Marshall) an 8 year old poodle, was saved from death row in Sydney. He was quite neglected but is recovering well, though his hearing loss seems permanent. He also has a little arthritis in one leg which we have had treated. He has been adopted permanently by his foster carer, and is a gentle calm poodle who loves a daily walk and to curl up in a warm place when at home.

Sheeba is a ten year old female mini who was saved from being put down by the vet who rang and asked if we would take her.  Her family had brought her in to be euthanased as they were going overseas for holidays.  Sheeba is completely deaf and going blind but loved her foster home.  So much so that the foster carer decided to keep her.

Montie is a black 1-2 year old toy poodle rescued from Queanbeyan pound.  He has been rehomed in the Blue Mountains and is enjoying his new family who walk him twice a day and think he is just wonderful.

Mali, a five year old mini was handed in to the pound for rehoming by an elderly gentleman who was going interstate (maybe to a nursing home) and couldn't keep him.  Mali is a delightful teddy bear looking dog who loves attention. She has been rehomed with another older gentleman who is delighted to have such a faithful friend.

Beau, a white mini, was given to us by a lady who is very ill with cancer and wanted to make sure her dog was cared for.  This was very difficult for her but she is happy to know that Beau is now living with a family who take him on at least one walk a day, have several beds arranged just so around the house for his comfort, give him lots of cuddles while he is watching television and generally love him to bits.

Lucy, an older maltese, was rescued from Queanbeyan pound and after a long foster period was finally adopted by a lady looking for a lapdog companion.  They have bonded well and Lucy now receives the absolute best of care.  She was one of our most expensive dogs for rehabilitation, costing $900 in removal of teeth alone, so it was wonderful to be able to afford to have this done (thanks fundraisers in particular) and improve Lucy's quality of life immensely now that she doesn't have lots of infected rotten teeth causing her pain anymore.

Max, a very cute but somewhat behaviourally challenged maltese, was fostered by Sylvia.  She decided to give Max a home permanently and has been doing wonders in making him a nicer dog.  He is still a little unpredictable but is making good progress with hard work, and Sylvia is reaping the benefits.

Rollie, the six year old mini poodle (this is the one who escaped and was on the run for 5 days), has finally found himself the home he was looking for.  He has settled in beautifully and is loved by the whole family.

Timmy is a small maltese cross who kept escaping from his family because the children used to think it was fun to do things like tie him up behind a bicycle and then race down the hill. He has now been rehomed with another family who treat him as a member of it.  He loves to play with his new canine friend and all the people in the family.  Timmy adapted quickly and is a very cuddly loving dog enjoying his new caring home.

Brocky was found wandering the streets.  Underneath his muddy matted exterior, he turned out to be a delightful maltese with lots of character.  He was adopted by a family who had already rescued one dog through us, and both now enjoy playing all day long.

Buddy, the maltese, was rescued from the pound and had a delightful temperament from the start.  Despite eating the windowsills in his spare time, he was rehomed with his new family who take him everywhere along with their mini poodle Indy.

Leo, a toy poodle with epilepsy, was rejected by many people before being adopted by a lady with mild epilepsy herself.  Leo is a loving and loyal boy who is the lord of the manor in his new home.

Jessica is a tiny toy poodle who was rehomed when her owner was in the final stages of a terminal illness.  Jess has adapted to her home exceedingly well and lives the high life with her mate and family.

Jake, a sweet and gentle young maltese, was handed in to the pound for rehoming.  He has now been placed with a family with children who spoil him with love and cuddles.

Milo, a three year old caramel miniature poodle, was handed in for rehoming.  After settling in with his foster carer, life looked wonderful for Milo, and his foster carer decided to adopt him permanently.  Milo romps wildly all day with Penny, a poodle/bichon cross half his size and they are the best of friends.  Milo enjoys his two walks a day -- though he tends to display 'little dog' syndrome when he meets larger dogs along the way. But that is improving and he loves the endless cuddles his new owner loves giving him. He is now a constant shadow to his new Dad, and takes every opportunity to climb up on his lap for a scratch or a sleep.

Otto, an energetic silky terrier who has been looking for a new home for over two years, has been rehomed with a retired couple who walk him at least once a day and provide cuddles on tap.  He thinks he is the centre of the family and enjoys visits from the extended family including another canine companion, Ginger.  Otto loves to spend his free time running around in the garden and sitting with his family as well as keeping an eye out for cheeky magpies.  He makes friends with everyone who visits and is enjoying his new life.
